Child Safety Poster Contest
The Attorney General’s Office is committed to protecting our children, whether through law enforcement or through events that emphasize awareness of child safety issues.
Each year, the Attorney General sponsors a statewide Child Safety Poster Contest. The contest is open to all Arkansas students, from kindergarten to fifth grade. The students are asked to incorporate a theme for the poster yearly, all focusing on child safety topics.
Preparation and creation of the posters gives parents and teachers an opportunity to explain dangers and teach students strategies to stay safe. Entries are due in January and the winners are announced in April. The winning poster from the fifth grade is entered into the National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest hosted by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
