Youth suicides are preventable. For people between the ages of 15 to 24, suicide is the third leading cause of death, behind unintentional injury and homicide. In 1992, more teenagers and young adults died from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, strokes, pneumonia, influenza and chronic lung disease combined.

Fortunately, caring people can help change these statistics. We hope that this web site will help to serve as a guide for those concerned about this problem, and offer solutions to those close to, and those considering suicide as an answer to their problems.
